Empowering Women and Children in Uganda

Together, we promote menstrual hygiene and health for women in rural Uganda. Your support makes a big difference.
Your donations have helped over 10,000 girls stay in school by providing safe menstrual products.

Reusable Pads

We give reusable pads to girls and women in villages and refugee camps. These pads are safe and can be used again and again.

Menstrual Health Classes

We teach girls and women about staying clean and healthy during their periods. This helps them understand and feel confident.

Pad Making Workshops

We show people how to make their own reusable pads. This skill helps them and their community.

Puberty Education

We teach boys and girls about the changes in their bodies during puberty. This helps everyone understand and support each other.

Q&A with Medical Volunteers

Girls and women can ask our medical volunteers personal questions. They get clear and helpful answers in a safe space.

Emergency Support

We provide food and medical help to families in need. This support keeps them healthy and strong.

Volunteering with Sunny Smiles Initiative has changed my perspective. Teaching pad-making workshops and seeing the immediate impact on the community is truly rewarding. I’ve built lasting friendships and learned so much about resilience and hope.

Being a part of Sunny Smiles Initiative has been heartwarming. I love knowing that my contributions are making a real difference. The best part was visiting Uganda and meeting the amazing girls whose lives are changing for the better.
